10:00 – 10:40 GO WITH THE FLOW WITH BECKY – Learn how to prevent imbalances in your health throughout the year. Using common sense wisdom from nature, Chinese Medicine teaches us a lot about how to live well by observing the seasons and aligning our activities within the context of our ecology.

10:50 – 11:30 WINTER YOGA FLOW WITH BETSY – The winter season in Ayurveda is associated with the dosha called Kapha, which is composed of the elements Earth and Water and which promotes stability in our body and mind. In order to help to prevent the typical Kapha imbalance during December through February, such as weight gain or depression, this flowing sequence is designed to help raise your core temperature and metabolism, and increase circulation.

11:40- 12:20 3 STORIES OF MIRACLES USING EFT WITH MICHAEL –Michael Messmer will present 3 stories of powerful emotional healing through the use of Emotional Freedom Techniques aka Tapping.  Tapping was brought to the world by the late Dr. Roger Callahan in the 1980s and refined into EFT by Gary Craig in the 1990’s. EFT/Tapping is used worldwide by millions including doctors, nurses, and therapists to help people overcome both emotional and physical issues.  The tool is easy to use, and needs no equipment other than two fingers and the ability to tap on one’s own meridian points.  Shifting away from negative emotions, traumas, and life experiences opens up cognitive shifts, compassion, and kindness.  Questions will follow and all are invited to join Michael for a 1 day workshop at TMC in March.

12:30 – 1:10 MINDFUL YOGA WITH CYNTHIA – Multi-tasking is no longer a common “buzz word”.  For many of us it has become a way of life.  Embracing a mindful yoga practice has the ability to bring us into balance so that we are better able to handle the demands of our busy lives.

1:20 – 2:00 CHANT AND MOVEMENT WITH ELIZABETH – Create focus and move energy with chant and simple movement.

2:10 – 2:50 TRIBAL FUSION DANCE WITH BAKARA – Tribal Fusion dance is a dynamic, earthy, and expressive evolution of bellydance.  Subtly strengthening and stretching core muscles, it empowers students with grace and self-confidence.  Class begins with yoga style stretches, continues with Tribal Fusion dance technique, and explores both improvisation and choreographies.
