One goal of yoga practice is the creation space in our lives. By having greater space, we have the possibility of discovering something new, whether about ourselves or the world in which we live. This class guides students in postures, breathwork, sound, and meditation to help create space in the lives of participants and encourage self-awareness and exploration. These practices promote physical strength and flexibility, mental clarity, and inner calm. Classes are taught in the tradition of Krishnamacharya as taught by T.K.V. Desikachar. This class is intended for students who have had experience in yoga and wish to deepen their practice.
