Policies And General Information

The Movement Center seeks to provide a flexible and diverse schedule of classes to accommodate our membership. TMC offers both session and weekly classes. Session classes require prepayment in full. Class card sessions are available for more varied scheduling. Class card sessions are contingent upon the number of students in attendance. Students who plan to attend a weekly class at the Movement Center are asked to call or email in advance to reserve a spot. Reservations are a courtesy to the teacher and your fellow students to ensure the minimum or maximum participation.

How to reserve a class:

  1. Call TMC no later than 12 hours the day before the class you plan to attend. Give your name and the class you wish to attend. If enough students reserve, class will be held. An advanced reservation sign-up sheet is posted on the front desk for students who would like to sign up as a regular participant for a class card session or to change a reservation.
  2. Participants may also sign up for a class via The Movement Center website at www.themovementcenter.net.
  3. Be sure to call the TMC the day of class to make sure your class is being held.

Class card sessions are open to everyone, even if you forget or are unable to reserve a class in advance. Keep in mind, however, classes are held contingent upon enough students. Remember, to call TMC the day of your class to make sure the class is being held.
