YAMUNA BODY ROLLING AND HOW IT HELPS YOUR YOGA AND FITNESS PRACTICE
YBR is a natural complement to a Yoga and Fitness practice. Their goals are the same – to free the body of restrictions, eliminate stress and tension: creating a calm and balanced you. We integrate YBR into both Exercise II and Yamuna Yoga classes, helping improve your practice and prevent injury.

 11:00 – 12:00
MEDITATION 4 EVERYONE – Elizabeth Terry
Meditation does not simply happen because we sit down on the floor on a cushion.  It requires preparation.  Experience a simple practice of postures and breathe leading to a guided meditation.

 12:00 – 1:00 PM
GO WITH THE FLOW – Betsy Dorbian
This flowing yoga class will combine yoga poses with the breath. Basic postures will be explored and then combined in gentle fluent patterns. This class is suitable for all levels.

1:00 – 1:45 PM
CHAIR YOGA – Cynthia Brittain
This class will reveal how many of the yoga postures we practice on our mat may be practiced in a chair.  This class is beneficial whether you are recovering from an injury, have limited mobility, are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner.

 1:45 – 2:30 PM
CHANTING 4 HEALTH – Elizabeth Terry
The Vedas, as the most ancient and authoritative source of Indian knowledge and literature in the Sanskrit language, contain many chants for health and healing. Come experience and practice a simple chant supporting health and long life.

 2:30 – 3:00 PM
ALL THAT JAZZ – Betsy Dorbian
Experience the joy of dancing in the adult jazz dance class.  Dancing is good for the body, mind and spirit!  The class will consist of a sample dance warm-up and basic jazz choreography.

3:15 – 3:45 PM – Beth Butler
DEMONSTRATION OF YAMUNA TABLE TREATMENT AND “IN BED” ROUTINE
Yamuna Table Treatments are done on a massage table using a ball. Some of the benefits are greater range of motion in all the joints, a longer freer body, increases circulation and alignment.

YAMUNA IN BED
“In Bed” offers a series of exercise routines specifically designed to be done in bed. It focuses on the hips, legs, tailbone and spine, pelvis and abdomen, chest and shoulders.

“In Bed” offers a series of exercise routines specifically designed to be done in bed. It focuses on the hips, legs, tailbone and spine, pelvis and abdomen, chest and shoulders. Remember the non-doing state can be the state that gives your body the most healing and positive change. Routines can also be adapted to working on a mat.
