Pranayama, the conscious regulation of breath is one of yoga’s most powerful tools to purify and discipline body and mind.  It can relax, energize, or balance your system. Benefits include reduced anxiety and depression, lower/stabilized blood pressure, reduced stress, a more focused, quieter mind. However, it is also a subtle practice, so one must be cautious and knowledgeable in its application to benefit.

This workshop will give participants the tools needed to apply the practice safely and will focus on learning and experiencing:

what pranayama is;

why breath practice is so profound;

simple practices to experience pranayama’s effects;

application of pranayama in your personal practice.

All are welcome to attend.  No previous experienced is required.
